These snowshoes are made of aluminium tubing 6061-T6 with ARCATECH shape exclusive to Faber. Featuring an arched side bend compare to conventional straight bend of the other aluminium frame, this type of snowshoe when in use will not knock each other, resulting in less noise and much easier walking. The arched frame also allows a new decking design increasing traction with more separate side attachment. Furthermore each arched side is cambered vertically to improve the flotation and create a rebound action to each step. Finally the rear end has a curved shape minimizing the dragging effect when walking forward and increasing manoeuvrability when going backward. The Arcatech frame is painted with a powder coating finish none adhesive to snow.
